The Furies in the Mirror for Solo Piano (2025) is inspired by Frederic Rzewski’s The People United Will Never be Defeated, and the pianistic writing of The Furies in the Mirror is owed in part to analyzing and applying textures from that work. The Movement titles are not meant to evoke specific visuals, but are instead meant to evoke abstract emotional associations similar to a Rorschach test.
